He’s just someone who has survived some folly, actually a lot of folly. Steve grew up a pagan or self-worshipper. Everything he did for the first 32 years of life revolved, for the most part, around his best interest, as he deviated just about every time he had an opportunity. He started smoking dope when he was thirteen and selling drugs when he was sixteen. He was born an entrepreneur, as he started selling Grit newspapers when he was twelve and mowing yards when he could convince his stepfather into letting him borrow the mower. But, unfortunately, he always gravitated to those things that were not in his best interest. Although he kept a real job somewhere, he always made his real money in the drug distribution business, at the peon level. What you will read in these true stories of his life is about the transition of a person that God knew before his birth. God also knew that when Steve turned, he would turn in a big way. Much of Steve’s life was very ugly, but he has chosen to tell you the truth of his life so that you may find the same peace he did. Of course, this won’t be his entire story of when he was in a gulf of poor decisions…regurgitating everything is simply redundant and boring. So, what you will read are some major events that have shaped who he is today. He is a transformed person, not by his will, because he didn’t desire to change at all, but through God’s will. God said, “Boy, I am tired of waiting and your story is written so this will only burn for an hour or so. Feel free to cry and scream, it won’t bother Me, as I have heard it before. Let’s talk.” And Steve did!
